Regular Events

Kenilworth hosts a number of regular events which bring visitors to our town. Kenilworth Celebrates is a major series of events, held in late September each year, and co-ordinated with events held by the other towns of the upper Mary Valley.



Kenilworth Cheese, Wine and Food Fest

Easter Suturday 10am-4pm
The fabulous Kenilworth Cheese, Wine and Food Festival – your chance to indulge in all the best bounty of the renowned Mary Valley. Join us on Easter Saturday 11th April 2009 for a memorable farm-to-fork feast. This will be a brilliant day for the whole family.

Centered in the Town Park, with activities around the Town.

Easter at the Vineyard

Open ALL Easter weekend (except Friday) 10am-5pm
for stunning wines, great cheeses and a relaxing ambience.
On Easter Sunday groove along with the 'Consultants of Swing' Live band between 12-4pm.

Kenilworth Celebrates! is presented by the Kenilworth Arts Council Inc. and is held on the last week in September/October - in 2009 from Saturday 26th September to Saturday 3rd October.

Kenilworth Celebrates! is a festival of the arts, both visual and performing. The 2009 festival will include the twelfth Annual Art Exhibition with top-class paintings, sculpture and pottery as well as the prestigious $15000 Acquisitive Prize. Everything will be exhibited at Kenilworth Public Hall and other Town venues, from 9am to 5pm daily. There will also be an exhibition by a named artist at St. John Bosco Church. All art is for sale.

Other events include an Alfresco Poets' Breakfast at 8am on Saturday. The Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra, bands, dance troups and street performers will entertain over the weekend. Artist's Workshops will run from Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October (early booking advised).

 Belli Old Time Dances




We have 10 Old Time Dances a year in the Belli Community Hall. In 2008 these are on 26th January, 1st March, 5th April, 10th May, 28th June, 2nd August, 13th September, 18th October, 22nd November and 31st December.
Starting time is 7.30pm.

Dance to the Sunshine Swing Band - supper provided, soft drinks available, raffle and lucky door prize.

Entry $10 adults, high school students $5 and children free.
